In a bizarre turn of events, Sunny Hostin, co-host of ABC’s The View, has found herself facing the wrath of tech mogul Elon Musk after a recent on-air rant against his company, SpaceX.
Musk, known for his fiery presence on social media, took to Twitter to condemn Hostin’s comments and even hinted at legal action.
“This was frankly disrespectful,” Musk tweeted in response to Hostyn’s criticism of SpaceX’s recent successful mission to launch astronauts into space. “These baseless attacks on my company and our achievements will not be tolerated.”
Hostin, who accused SpaceX of “putting profit over safety” during the mission, seemed unfazed by Musk’s response.
“I was only expressing my opinion on a matter of public safety,” she said in a statement. “I stand by my comments and believe that companies like SpaceX have a responsibility to prioritize safety over profit.”
But Musk was not having it. He fired back with a series of tweets accusing Hostin of spreading misinformation and suggesting legal action be taken against him and The View.
“Opinions are one thing, but spreading lies and damaging a company’s reputation is another,” Musk wrote. “I will not stand for it.”
The feud sent shock waves through the media and tech industries, with some speculating that it could lead to a full-fledged legal battle. However, legal experts are divided on whether Musk has a strong defamation case.
One expert said, “Defamation is always difficult to prove, especially when it comes to public figures and opinions.” “But Elon Musk is a very powerful man, and he has a lot of resources. He may file a case.
For Hostin, the situation is far from ideal. “I never expected it to blow up like this,” she said. “But I stand by my comments, and I am not intimidated by threats or legal action.”
Only time will tell how the Hostin-Musk feud will play out, but one thing is for sure: This is a clash of two strong personalities, and neither one is willing to back down.
I t seems that Elon may have over reacted to this situation. Yes space shuttles have exploded and people killed it is proof that no matter what safety precautions etc are adhered to it is a business where thing can go wrong really really fast and that’s the way life is. I can not find a single thing i like about Sunny Hostin, I think she’s ignorant and I would like to see her design a rocket a car or contribute anything intelligent. She’s negative and nasty and her brain is about 1/2 % of Musks. She should stick to talking jibberish to the people who are dumb enough to watch that nightmare of a show. You must consider the source, is she in a possession to know all the facts,no she is not.Being ignorant is no excuse for her coments, and she has the responsibility for own actions.Using the air ways in a manner such as she has, to the detriment of others.
The View is a group of nasty, biased, far left extremists who have ZERO credibility. Their ignorant one sided rants are nothing but pure garbage. I don’t believe there is an intelligent rational thinking brain cell among any of them. If any show should be cancelled it’s this one.

May he win any lawsuit against these very bad women on ‘The View’ – with their nonstop bashing, maligning & bullying of good people with great advancements (Musk & team are geniuses – and would’ve thought through any possible danger to people. However: Pfizer, Moderna, Anthony Fauci aren’t so smart – and have risked the health of countless millions with their ‘medical’ bioweapon (mRNA shots) that only increased getting covid, along with a plethora of deadly and or debilitating side effects!!!! No. The View is paid to attack people who expose the corruption of government, big pharma, and God. I fear for the View’s staff’s eternal souls – where they will end up for eternity – if they don’t humble themselves before God and repent of their wickedness. (and truly turn to Jesus in their hearts!)
